those who are setting up their instruments, might be wise to come earlier if you drive, there is a decent carpark, but best to get the lots nearest to the coastal field for your convenience. some of us plan to be there as early as 4pm, probably chilling and catching up at Burger King. join us!

Thanks for organising the event, Remus. Although a cloudy affair, got to see many scopes and more importantly, to connect back with many old friends and Singastro veterans. Looking forward to the next one..with clear skies too! :)

It was my pleasure to, Airconvent! Even though the weather was less than ideal, it was literally a "showering" success and memorable experience with everyone, from riding out the rain out in the open (with full of funny moments and laughter!), to welcoming and seeing familar faces to newbies once again, that the pandemic was behind us, and we were back once again, doing astronomy outreach and interacting with all who attended. Early birds came as early as 4pm, and the event went right up into the early morning hours of 1-2am. It was good to see families bringing their wives and kids, young couples, students, veterans in the hobby, newbies, and passers-by. Instruments wise, there was a whole array, from dedicated EAAs like the DwarfII, refractors, compounds, and dobsonians. Thanks to everyone who came, who helped logistically, and also those who spread word about this wonderful event. Also not forgetting our overseas guests who took time and effort to come!! It was amazing we managed to pull this off, even without any celestial activity happening in the sky, in a light polluted city here in Singapore, but it just also goes to show the hobby is alive and kicking than ever before! See you at the next astronomy outreach activity!
