Spent a night on Lazarus once, milky way was vaguely visible. Southern sky is pretty good but anything towards the north will be shrouded by MBS. Just my 2 cents.

I have previously camped overnight at St John and Semakau Islands. These islands are very close to the main land. Hence the night sky will get a huge light dome covering about half the sky from East to North to West and almost up to the zenith. Facing southern sky is OK if you don't encounter any ship docked in the waters south of your location, otherwise there will be impact from bright lights on the ships too.
