CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

... more Jupiters ...

Post by JY »

Hi,

Very good seeing lately, I managed a few good AVIs of Jupiter with Meade LX200GPS 12" , Barlow 2x, and Toucam from Yio Chu Kang (Balcony).

Used Registax 3 to stack 600 out of 1200 images.
At the bottom of the page are images shot previously with an ETX125.
All images taken in 2004 were really bad, too much turbulence and bad collimation, I threw them all ...

Cheers

JY, great detail! Yes did notice that the seeing is very good.

Little know thing about our climate - terrible light pollution and sometimes transparency, but great seeing...
