Very cloudy on fixed date , conditions slowly improved at 8pm onwards.
Jupiter , can see the wave texture on the belt in 6" maksutov
m42 , in 5" SCT to my eyes can see slight nebulosity direct , quite obvious when adverted vision
Pleaides , 5" SCT with 32mm plossl it was a tight squeeze into the viewing angle

Heavy rain before the event, brought a smaller achromat refractor as I expected less than 50% chance.

Planets and Moon not visible on event day , expected visible part of the sky from Canis Major to Leo constellation.
Last night I stood there could only eyeball magnitude 2.4 stars due to floodlights beside and haze.

Astro club's sidewalk outreach telescope put to use.
Thanks to Rlow and Kelvin.

M42 nebulosity nearly gone in 4" achro at this location. My previous January note with 5" SCT was obvious with adverted vision.

Wow.. nice sidewalk session. With so many buildings, is the sky coverage limited ?

Need about 40 degrees altitude to clear nearby buildings. East to South almost totally blocked.
