LX200GPS 8" UHTC for USD1500

Came across this like-new scope avail for sale near Monterey for USD1500 incl. Meade eyepiece set and 8.8mm UWA. Sounds like a very good deal? Anyone interested? :)

How about I buy it, play with it for a month, and then sell it to a Singastroean? :)

awwww....its way out of my budget...otherwise seems a very attractive buy...
an 8" LX200GPS for the price of an LX90!

Sounds interesting leh. Ya loh, cost less than a LX90. Have you check out the scope yet? Do you have a rough guess how much it would be shipping to Singapore via UPS or FedEx?

Now a bit scare of Meade's product after what happens to my ETX. :?

No lah didn't check it out. As Vin Snr said, I have too many toys liao. :wink: Maybe if this seller can't sell it after a few months, I will approach him and see if he will make a better offer haha :twisted:

The LX200 and LX90 both have better reputations, so not to worry... too much :)

I just shipped my LX90 back by Fedex from US -- about USD300. I guess a bit more for the LX200?

Oh I C... So you finally got your LX90 from US lah... saw your posting for a 2nd hand LX90 recently.... really don't think there're lots or LX90 around in Singapore.

So which Aperture did you get? the 8" right? Price?
