Hi all,
Apart from PC programmes and pda software, is there a small paperback book that list ALL the Messier and NGC objects complete with position, magnitudes, constellation residing?
I'm looking for one as a quick guide and realised that even Patrick Moore's book only list a selection but not the complete listing.
Thanks

Rich,
Your starfinder book? Ryan's or Philips of something like that? Stars and Planets I think.
My book has the NGC and M objects listed in the index so you find it and flip to the chart it is on.. no need for any additional chart.
Anyway, if you want the whole list, I'm sure its available on the net somewhere. Can just print out the whole list (formatted in small letters of course)
Clear skies!
