Hi,
Looking for a Half-pier for my mount. Would appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction to a dealer who has one in stock or someone who wants to sell a used one. Thanks!

WTB: Half Pier
If your mount is compatible with the Kenko NES, Stargazer do sell the half pier. Machined aluminum block & new bolt to replace the existing short bolt you have. Their webpage is www.stargazer.com.my - located in KL. Contact Bobby (MD) or Su Fen. Very friendly & helpful. Just saw them today to exchange my pier - they have fresh stock.
I bought mine from them & i can now do North & South without kicking my own leg (mount leg)

Hi KPK, what's the Kenko NES? I think mine is a vixen style mount. Will that be compatible? How much are they selling for? If I can't get it locally I'll prob drive up after my mersing trip next week .. =)
VinSnr, thanks! I didn't think there would be a used one available. Anyway, dropped you a PM. Scope's supposed to arrive tmr, so do contact me asap. THanks!
Clear Skies to all,
Jeremy

Kenko NES is a mount by Japanese but now made in Taiwan. Dunno if it is compatible with Vixen/EQ style. In fact, I have not seen a vixen mount upclose myself. Think you should stick to one that works (ie a real vixen pier) rather than experiment with Kenko NES pier. Each OEM has their different design to express their individuality.
Anyway, the half pier is RM250 (own pickup). Aluminium block is pretty heavy - not sure how much would postage/courier cost to S'pore.
