Those of you that have imported telescope(s) from overseas, could you tell me what the custom tax is?

5% GST on products more than SGD$400 including shipping and any insurance costs ...
Which means if your telescope costs $350, shipping costs $49 and insurance is $1.10, you gotta pay GST .. =)
Import taxes do not apply if you're just bringing in one item for personal use ...
