WTS : CG5 mount in vixen green colour ( sold )

Post by wucheeyiun »

This mount is minty and and the gear is smooth and base on 144 worm gear system,
It looks like a Vixen GP ( but it is not, and probably a clone look alike ) made in Taiwan or China.
Condition is great and could be used as a tracking mount if installed with RA motors, plastic protection is still on the axel.
price $250.
Jpeg file of mount with mewlon in action, for those whom have seen the mount in action during the Mars2005.
Its max payload is 6kg, will be good for a C8, even for imaging purpose.
I have loaded 9kg during the mars watch ( but not advisable ) which work OK.
No Tripod for this mount, you got to get a tripot or even a pier from Arief.

Reason to sell, i took over arief GP-DX :)

I still think you need my HAL-110 tripod for the GPDX/Mewlon Combo :-)
Btw, my pier will be acquired by Danny.

Another close up shot of CG5 mount without tripot.

Will work well with most tripod with a bottom mounted screw up bolt. ( will provide )

Tripot must be heavy duty for this mount to work well.

Thanks for looking

wu chee yiun

pm me if interested.
