This is the Horsehead image (again reprocessed! looks like a fine activity to do during these cloudy and rainy nights....)

how come the nebula looks orangey instead of the usual pinkish-red?

had used centuria 400 for this, not the usual really red hues one get from Ektarchrome 200. could adjust the colour balance further to shift the hues if necessary. but from my monitor it looks orangy-red and not pure orange. which monitor are you using?
