Hello everyone!

I have a question regarding the binoculars.

I see so many models of Zeiss binoculars but their price range differs so much.

Anyone owns the following or just feel free to differentiate or make any comments about the price + quality of the following zeiss binoculars:

Deltrintem 8 X 30

jenoptem 10 X 50

diafun 8 X 30

if im not mistaken deltrintem is already out of production already am I correct?

Oh no! i don't know anything about Zeiss binoculars, except that they are expensive. The names of the models cited are enough to scare me!

Deltrintem, dekarem is the model name of Carl Zeiss Jena binos, the factory has been sold to Doctor Optics after the Germany is reunited. Deltrintis is the IF version of deltrintem.


Diafun is a mid-priced modern Zeiss model.

I just recently acquired two Zeiss binoculars. Any info regarding their value would be appreciated.
Carl Zeiss Zena Deltrintem 8 x 30
Carl Zeiss Dekarem 10 x 50 both made in DDR
