Basically, film cameras research has reached it's peak, can't really blame them. I would personally go for mechnical cameras though :D.

Hi,
Hmm... I think Nikon is trying to catch up with Canon in digital camera.

It now the digital era... everything will go digital... even digital medium format camera will be available soon.

Have a nice day.

Mamiya ZD Medium format (22 MP) is a good candidate :)

Actually, medium format cameras have digital backs which made normal medium format camera a digital camera :D.

There are "pure" digital medium format though, the Contax Medium Format, The hassleblad H2D, the mamiya ZD etc etc ....

But then most medium format users will rather buy a film camera with digital backs :D ... it is cheaper and more verstile anytime ;).
