Astronomy Theory Lecture Notes for beginner

Post by weixing »

Hi,
I had posted this link before, but I seem unable to find the post now.

Anyway, below is a link to an Astronomy Lecture Notes (theory) for beginner... It is actually an introductory astronomy course ("Nature of the Universe I & II'') offered by The Department of Physics of The University of Hong Kong. I found it very interesting and should be very useful for beginner.

English Version (No framed version):
http://www.physics.hku.hk/~nature/CD/re ... index.html

English Version (framed version):
http://www.physics.hku.hk/~nature/CD/fr ... cture.html

Simplified Chinese Version (No framed version):
http://www.physics.hku.hk/~nature/CD/re ... index.html

Also, you can download the webpages for your offline view:
English Version (No framed version):
http://www.physics.hku.hk/~nature/CD/Universe_re.tar

English Version (framed version):
http://www.physics.hku.hk/~nature/CD/Universe_fe.tar

Simplified Chinese Version (No framed version):
http://www.physics.hku.hk/~nature/CD/Universe_rs.tar

Have a nice day.

WeiXing,
These lecture notes are so useful that I repeated your post in my own forum post, linking it back to this sticky post as well.

Thanks a million!

Thank you very much Weixing! I'll also copy the site and share in our country for the people who can't afford to use internet.

Cheers!!!
