I bought the APO from Charlie...it is a really a good scope. I use it as tele lens for bird/ nature photography too.
Will cherish it.
William Optics has also agreed to upgrade the 4" focuser to the current crawford 2-speed for me... :) @ a special price.

Yeah, i am begining to like the apo a lot more now, i can still see the temperates curly wurlies of jupiter without any chromatic aberation now. High contrast and really sharp scope too.

Hoping to catch some deep sky objects like m42...when it rises from the east again...it will take a while though.

I did this moon shot and very satisfied with the single shot effort....

Manual focus

Flt - 110 does not have any back focus problem which i have with my previous c4r and mewlon 210

Unedited and absolutely without any CA ( chromatic aberation )

Hi,
forgive me for interrupting, I thought moon should be pure white through an apo (e.g. http://www.singastro.org/files/moon92fl ... ic_129.jpg)? the pic looks a bit yellowish.
I think may be cause by the white balance of the camera or the atmosphere.

Have a nice day.

It is slightly yellowish because my original pic is a tad under exposed....
i did a shot @ 1:60 but it became blur due to low shutter.....but it will be true white.

if i bump up the white...it will look like this...

This is the wonders on the DSLR and instant image editing
