Hi all
I have been "ordered" to pare down my scope "collection", so here goes.... :) :)

I have a black C8 OTA with Starbright coatings in excellent condition for sale. Optics is sparkling clean, while OTA has minor cosmetic scratches. It has above-average optics for a C8, and is fastar compatible. Comes with Celestron 8x50 finder and CG5 style orange dovetail bar, and a 2" mirror diagonal and 2"-1.25" adaptor. Only S$800. PM me if interested. Price firm, so no bargaining please but I will sell the scope for $750 to students/NSFs and include a 30mm plossl for $10 more (ie, $760 total).

I know it's a long shot, but you happen to wanna sell the Dovetail bar alone? :)

This scope is really good, "refractor" quality sharpness....a great buy for $800, a fair price should be a $1000, chee chien, you are ruining the market!!! whaaa + 2" diagonal.

upzzz for good scope. this is call c&g midi curry pot :D

weixing, you ought to get your midi Cass finally.....

Chee Yiun, what's C&G Midi? :) I think an SCT cannot be called curry put leh, it's closed and the shape not right .. HAHA ... only Portaball look more like Curry Pot ... :)

Anyway, I think the trend is that used C8 prices are dropping. The last C8 OTA CC sold was around $900, Chee Yiun was selling a C8 also about that price (forgot exactly how much) not too long ago ... :)

that's a bad thing for SCT owners like me, scope dropping value ... Haiz ... :)

If the buyer doesn't need the dovetail I can deduct $30 off the sale price of the OTA and sell it to you for the same.

Jeremy, the buyer wants the dovetail but you may be glad to know that the buyer is your collimation saviour, so you can bug him for it :)
