First Obsession in Singapore?

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Weixing,

Where exactly is that field? There seems to be many parks around that area. Could you give me the road name or park name?

Also, is the Bedok Long John Silver carpark top floor accessible?

Thanks.

It's directly behind Bedok South Secondary School. I think the road beside it is Jln Langgar Bedok... it's a road between Bedok South Secondary School and a buddist temple.

Have a nice day.

The base price (3k usd) is stated in the obsession website. I also added Argo Navis DSC, shroud, upgraded to JMI DX1 (the best JMI focuser. It works well enough for me), astrosystem dew heater, carrier for UTA etc it cost less than a corresponding Starmaster, Portaball, Teleport of about similar aperture.
Hey! Very nice Obby you have! Looks very solid and craftmanship is excellent. Good buy!

I'm not too clear about the Argo Navix DSC. Website says" Perform a quick two star alignment and off you go. No need to level your mount. It's fast and easy. As you move your scope, objects of interest are reported to you on the display in real-time. " Does it mean that Obby is computer controlled like a GOTO already?

If yes, then why is there the optional accessory of ServoCAT Goto Drive System? More precision in computer control?

Thanks.

The Argo Navis is a DSC..not a GOTO. You need to use your hands to push in the direction where the DSC tells you.

ServoCat on the other hand is a full GOTO
