Light Pollution Reduction Filter 0.965"

Post by geyes30 »

Hello!

I am looking for the above mentioned. I understand that this isn't exactly the most common eyepiece/focuser size, so I would also like to know if there is anyway to fit a 1.25" filter onto a 0.965" eyepiece. Thanks!

Regards,

somehow possible, by using a threaded adapter. say maybe a 1.25" to 0.965" adapter that is being threaded for filters.

Unless your focuser or diagonal is also a small 0.965" type, perhaps you can just screw on the 1.25" filter on your 1.25" diagonal or 1.25" eyepiece adaptor?

Unfortunately, my focuser itself is 0.965". What luck!

For visual use, try holding the filter in front of the eyepiece while viewing. As your focuser & eyepieces of 0.965" barrel size gives a very limited field of view, you may like to consider a future upgrade, as you will see a big difference when you try a 2" eyepiece!
