VERY VERY tempting!!!

I have already reserved the motors from a very kind seller... will get it at the end of the month. Need to wait for my payday lah, as I had already spent a bomb on my new dSLR and some second-hand lenses (spend some more too soon and wife will kick me to the moon for spending less on her...).

Final and firm price for the Vixen GPDX mount head, built-in illuminator, polar scope, counterweight shaft, 3.7kg counterweight, and a very nice wooden surveyor tripod = $999 ($850 without the tripod)

Hi,
Hmm... Very tempted... But I can only "buy" again around a weeks later.... :( :( :(

By the way, does the wooden tripod come with a north pad for find drift alignment??

Have a nice day.

no, i have a small aluminum plate to fit the surveyor tripod to gpdx head but it doesn't have a north peg. you can just buy the head and use your existing tripod liao.

jeremy, i think weixing's one is gp mount, not gpdx.

I see ... all the while I thought it was a DX .. HAHA .. :) Now I'm impressed a GP can take the photos WX has taken with a 6" Newt and 5" refractor. :)
