i just got river's nexstar 4gt. he's a great guy to deal with. luckily i didn't go for the bigger maks. i never realised how big and heavy they were. the nexstar 4gt was about the limit of my practicality and i'm glad i got it.

That's because the scope and the GOTO mount are in one piece... :)
the nexstar 4gt was about the limit of my practicality and i'm glad i got it.
Ya... The most importance thing is that you are happy about it.

Hmm... seem like there'll be more cloudy nights ahead... :wink: :P
