The key thing that I liked was the fact it is long enough to offer support for your head when you lie down. The more inclined it is, the "wider" the FOV you get when looking up...

You are right on the money Mr Airconvent! The design of the chair allows more recline positions than shown in the pictures by spreading the legs further apart with the help of the supporting struts. In fact, the extended padded head rest was an after thought .
