I have a beautiful mint condition Orange tube C8 for sale. This one is kind of rare being it was manufactured for only 2 or 3 years 1990-1993, the difference between this C8 and the ones that came off of the old fork mounts is that this one came with the Starbright coatings, all other orange tube C8s ever made came with just the special coatings.
The optics in this scope are absolutely superb, with excellent diffraction rings on either side of focus with a nice airy disc and the ability to hold a great deal of power over 325 with no image break down. The scope comes with both caps a visual back and a telrad base. The scope has a vixen dovetail that will fit on most mounts out there. The orange color of this scope is brighter than that of the older C8s and has a very pleasing look to it.
This is a perfect all round scope, enough aperture for serious deep sky as well as planetary observation and imaging. The scope is portable enough for airline carry on.
Price is SGD1170, slightly negotiable. First to commit gets it. Pics tomorrow.

OK guys, the previous owner wants this scope back (i bought the scope here http://www.astromart.com/classifieds/de ... _id=441179 ).
Just want to make sure no one locally wants the scope before I sell it back to the previous owner.
