End of the Portaball line

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Just dun go scrub the mirror every few days.
Vincent, was this what you did to the eleven inch mirror? :lol:

Yeah..I use Jif to scrub...haha

BTW, they have collected USD$5200 so far to help out Peter Smitka.

I wonder if one of our local astro shop close down, will we go donating money and help him out.

No wonder there were originally a few 'hairlines' on it! :lol: But no problem for me. :) I would agree with Vincent that the Astro Sky has a good price point and quality standard between the premium dobs and the mass-produced dobs.

oo, sad to hear that. portaball is still one of the most unique design. i wonder if anyone else will consider making such a scope.
