Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Personally, I think the shape is ugly (looks like a retro joystick) and dangerous to use - in the dark, the police patrol may mistake you holding a gun!

Looks a bit like the phaser from the old TV show 'Space 1999'. Good grief! has it been that long already? I think it was shown something like 30 yrs ago.

yes kay heem, its that long!
you can still rent all the episodes from the Espanade library.
Some of the episodes are cheesy at best but the special effects were ahead of its time then...

ok, back on topic. functionally, you have to admit its much better than the celestron. easier to hold, no need to peep into a small eyepiece. Aestetically, though...its a disaster. could have been a little more sleek. no wonder meade does not dare to showcase it on their website product list!
you can see a introductory video here :

Hi,
ok, back on topic. functionally, you have to admit its much better than the celestron.
Not sure about that... especially when you had a full colour LCD to kill your dark adaptation. Hmm... So you had to "select" you want to see the "real" star or the star in the LCD?? :P :P

Have a nice day.
