Hi all,
We are now taking orders for these bolt-style eyepiece bottles. This is an economical solution (vs an eyepiece case) for storing your individual eyepieces while you're on the move.
(If you were to get them yourself, these bottles are sold between US$3 and US$7 each in the US, and shipping to Singapore is usually a minimum of US$5 for even the most basic airmail from any respected US dealer)
The following sizes are available :
(*updated : replaced general description with exact dimensions. Thanks for bringing it up, Vin Snr)
Size 1 : Internal Diameter = 1.4", Height = 1.9" - 2.5"
S$6.00 each
Size 2 : Internal Diameter = 1.6", Height = 3.2" - 4.7"
S$6.00 each
Size 3 : Internal Diameter = 2.0", Height = 3.2" - 4.7"

Size 6 : Internal Diameter = 3.1", Height = 4.7" - 7.0"

The bottles are made of 'Polypropylene'. Though probably not from the same source as where Meade gets theirs, these bottles (1) look like them and (2) work the same way as them. Can you provide some info on the type and properties of the plastic material used. Is is the same as those Meade eyepiece containers?
Also, are there eyepiece filter cases available for 1.25 " & 2"?
Yes, boxes for 1.25" filters are available. S$4.00 each if ordered by the same dateline Monday 2nd February 23:59. See picture below.
2" filter boxes are not currently available.

Hi,
Thanks and have a nice day.
What do you mean that Height = 1.9" - 2.5"??? Is it mean that it can accept a eyepiece up to 2.5" in length?? Or it is the length of the bottle??Size 1 : Internal Diameter = 1.4", Height = 1.9" - 2.5"
Thanks and have a nice day.

Weixing, it means the bottle can still be close when it's 2.5" in length. Remember that the bottle is a screw-on type......so the more you screw it in, the shorter it gets. 1.9" would means the length of the bottle when it is fully screwed-in. 2.5" would means the maximum it goes before you reach an unsecure screw-on.weixing wrote:Hi,What do you mean that Height = 1.9" - 2.5"??? Yup, it's like what Vin Snr said. What do you mean that Height = 1.9" - 2.5"??? Is it mean that it can accept a eyepiece up to 2.5" in length?? Or it is the length of the bottle??
