WITHDRAWN : Vixen Dew Heater

Post by Meng Lee »

Hi all,

After I got the Dew buster, I can heat up all the stuff for the imaging setup. I can sell this simple Dew Heater fron Vixen for 8" telescopes. For Schmidt Cassegrain and Maksutov users, you will know the need to use the dew heater or your observing session will end very soon just over midnight!

For 6" and 8" SCT and MCT, a dewshield is not enough. This heater is waterproof and it goes into the powertank very well with the cigarette lighter plug. Highly recommended is the voltage regulated cigarette lighter plug from SimLim Tower (few dollars) with adjustable voltage to control the heat.

going at $50

Thanks for looking.

Hi all, recently I have been so busy that I have gone blur!

The power rating is written on the dew heater. 9V, 5W. Attach it to an adjustable voltage cigarette lighter plug gives you much better freedom of controlling its heat output.

I add a voltage regulated cigarette lighter plug to this heater so that you can control the heat output of the heater. Total is S$65.

Thanks for looking.
