Orion Manual Filter Wheel!

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

wow, VinSnr, that's a good one! Hopefully it will maintain orthogonal focus with the various filters! oh my, then my CFW8A must be hitting the roof in price! (can't bear to think about FLI's wheels then!) :oops:

I have the apogee wheel. The workmanship is pretty good. The filter "clicks" into place and I didn't notice any abberation through my eyepiece.

For the price, it's pretty good. But no idea why the Orion one can be that expensive. It uses the same thumbscrew method and not compression ring. Orion trying to chop carrot here.
