Alright, this is for sharing of your observation experience. Or, if you are arranging gatherings, star-gazing expeditions or just want some company to go observing together, you can shout it out here.
Northern Malaysia also not so lucky, been cloud and rain since last 2 weeks. Just as i thought my luck would run out, after midnight on 31st the cloud suddenly vanished. Managed to take a few pics from the 30 minutes of clear sky.
I managed to catch the comet with my telescope this time. However, there are high level clouds.. so it was hard to make out details of the comet.
I could see that the comet is elongated unlike the circle shape that was seen days back. I could see the brightening and the 'tear drop' looking core. The core was located on the East side of the comet which is now elongated in shape. I wonder if it is because of the atmosphere that makes it look elongated or has it really changed shape.
