I have yet to own a Borg scope. Reason? I never know what are the parts to order! The mix-and-match concept may be attractive for flexibility but it sure confuses me! Even buying the micro-focuser was an adventure for me...

Erm, true, its confusing, so Remus is the man to consult. He knows what adapters or step rings are need to meet the requirements.

RCJ seems to be out of town these days. Didn't notice him coming to the forum.

Borg MiniAstrograph
Don't underestimate this baby, it packs quite a punch! I have an achro version, use it primarily as a guide scope, but performs pretty well visually too. Its optical quality far surpass typical guide scopes!

heh, i like the borgs alot. been playing ard with one of their 76ed. the modular design allows for lots of options, prepare lots of money to "collect" all the accessories :D tube is normally smaller than what other manufacturers would use. they used to be one of the cheapest "apos" around.

the 125sd seems intersting, but f/6 seems a little too fast, makes me wonder if it's anything better than the previous 125ed. prices not yet out.

Had a Borg 77EDII last time, very nice. Hope to own it again next time. hmmm maybe get the ED60 for widefield mosaics first!

The 125SD seems to be a dedicated astrograph, thats why its f/6
