I could do with that convenience! But spending S$750 to get it is pushing it a little. Its a lot cheaper to simply bring rlow or remus along instead...that only cost 2 pratas and a coffee plus you have a meaningful conversation too! ![admire2 [smilie=admire2.gif]](./images/smilies/admire2.gif)

Heh.. but you can't keep 'pushing' them for an answer each and every time you need to slew to a new object!Airconvent wrote:I could do with that convenience! Hi,
Most GOTO scope and DSC can already do what a SkyScout can do and may be a little bit more... just without commentary. So for those already had a GOTO scope or DSC, adding a SkyScout link is quite redundant.
Have a nice day.

agreed. Sky Scout is very useful for a beginner who does not know his/her stars and with a goto for alignment (that is me). Try with a 3 star alignment around 8pm and most of the recommended stars even a seasoned amateur need to refer to his skychartTachyon wrote:Heh.. but you can't keep 'pushing' them for an answer each and every time you need to slew to a new object!Airconvent wrote:I could do with that convenience! in time the Sky Scout will be redundant; can always pass on to another newbie for a consideration or used as an expensive GPS.
