Stargazing Session in the East tonight (22nd March 2008)

Post by rcj »

Hi all,

Weather may be promising tonight. Some of us who are putting up in the eastern part of Singapore, would be thinking of having a stargazing session, probably to image Saturn, etc. Location is yet to be confirmed. Could be Eunos/Kembangang or at the usual location in ECP (Carpark C4/D1 area). If you are keen, please SMS at 82333798, and I will keep you posted. The session will likely begin around 8-9.

Ob session is on at Kembangan. Remus will be coming over to my place, 51-C Lengkong Empat; Astor (next to Starsville). We will be trying to image Saturn.

Anyone is welcomed. The nearest MRT is Kembangan and if you can't find the way, I can do a pick up at the MRT station. SMS Remus or me at 98211321.

Yup, was clear for awhile then the clouds started coming in at about 1230. Left Remus and Vincent to continue imaging the moon while I get some sleep! :)

It was quite a nice night, considering it rained earlier on. Night was cool, seeing was average, but we managed to bagged some Saturns...
