Off-axis guider (built like a tank!)

Post by rcj »

Have a customized off-axis guider for sale. This is solidly built and is flexible. From the picture, you can see that the eyepiece end (top part) can be adjusted for orthogonality from the four top screws. The small light-diversion prism inside provides one with a view of the FOV while you use your autoguider for guiding. The eyepiece barrel is the 0.965" type, so you don't have to spend lots of money on a 1.25" one. Perhaps, those kellners would come handy. Features focusing lock ring as well at the "telescope" end. Good for those ST4, QHY guider, etc. This is a great step up from Meade and Vixen OAGs, and best of all, in a compact package. Previously invested about SGD$400 plus in this little bugger. Now, to you for SGD$200. Kept in dry cabinet always. Proudly made in Japan!
