Selling my DIY apochromatic refractor with TMB 115/805 lens and feathertouch focuser (2.5 inch travel).
The OTA is made of seamless aluminium tube and designed to be telescopic, the second draw tube holding the focuser can be fully retracted into to the main tube for ease of transportation. The entire OTA weighs 6 kg and only 54cm long.
In use, the second draw tube is fully extended and locked securely by a newly designed internal thread, it does not flex even under the heavy weight of a binoviewer.
New addition to the tube include new beige color epoxy coating, three light baffles(anodized aluminium) and Protostar Light-trap (to replace previous black velvet).
The OTA comes with tube ring (wire-cut aluminium alloy), mounting plate and test report for lens.
