Hi, just need to check and confirm if anyone is on for the chinese garden ob at ard 4/5am on sunday morning to catch the eclipse on sunday morning?

hmm...the eclipse starts at 4 am according to stellarium set at SG's coordinates...budden i rmb someone putting a post on singastro sayign it starts at 6 44 am..hmm..weird..anyway, it's like only 2 ppl for the ob..*sadded* so i'll be obbing from my balcony..cause it's a perfect west side view of the sky!

haha..not at chinese garden liao...i've set up my ob equipment at my balcony loh..looking at jupiter now...pretty sharp i must say!!!

the eclipse was pretty good! although its not a full eclipse..managed to do a few shots of the progression. din catch the initial part cause was still getting the equipment out! darn..i should have expected that the point and shoot through the eyepiece wouldn't have been easy...

cause i set it to black and white...using a DSI..and it's like kinda weird in colour mode..haha..need to get a higher MP cam..anybody wanna sell me their DSLR???

Nice pictures! IMHO I like white version more. :)

From our region we can see only after the moon entered into the Umbral.
