Where to buy ToUCam?

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Where to buy ToUCam?

Post by chrisyeo »

Hi

What are the webcams available here that can be used for astro imaging?

How do you think I can get my hands on a ToUCam II for example? Is it only available in Europe?

Cheers!

An alternative is the Creative Webcam Pro EX. That's what i'm using. Here's a sample image:

That doesn't look bad at all! I hadn't noticed that it was taken with a creative webcam. :)

How many frames were stacked? Do you have any other pictures?

i'm not sure how many frames were stacked.....i think about 60-odd. Took the photo on an alt-az mount, so the number of frames before the object drifted out of the FOV is around 60-70....
