I am not too sure of the models but the most easy to buy are Gundam models. They seem to be around all year round. From dept stores like Metro to specialty stores like Toy-R-Us.
Chinatown square has shops that even sell China made replicas for much lower cost.

Most of the places I went to e.g. Toys-R-Us did not have a particular model I am looking for.

Where is this Chinatown Square?
