CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!
Hi chuang, the narrowband images were between 4 & 5 minutes per exposures with accumulated total time of about 30 minutes for OIII & SII, Halpha about 45 minutes. As for the colour images, saturation will reach way b4 3 minutes of exposure, so I took 7 at 2 minutes and 12 more at 100s. Also took several short exposures between 13s to 30s for the core.
Looking at yours stars I notice a slight egg shape to them. Did you have small guiding problems?
Hi Dragon Man, you are right the guiding was not too precise, my GM8 mount was tax to the max, balancing the newtonian for imaging is a tricky business.

Still looks good to me.
A slight egg shape is preferable to star trails
