Sky Over Myanmar Ancient City, Bagan

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Very nice image with the building in the foreground.
Just a pity the sky is upside down :P

Thank you for your comments. :)

Sorry for my late reply. As I'm a bit busy with my exams in the past a few weeks, I couldn't visit internet cafe.

Here is another one:

Boothee,

LOVE the shots. You should send them in to Astronomy or Sky and Telescope to have them published, if you wish ;)

For the star trails, they look a bit too white and unnatural to me. Were they colour corrected? For the first photo, just need to clean up some of the hot pixels and I think it's perfect. So magical and majestic. Thanks for sharing!

Wow boothee, great shots as always. I'll definitely visit you if I've saved up enough to go to Myanmar in future!

Wow!!!Very very good pictures.

I love the background color of the 2nd image posted here. From the 1st image, I can imagine how clear the sky.

Gonna visit Myanmar someday in the future....perhaps 15 Jan 2010...??? Will visit Mandalay on that date.
