Hi all,
Im looking for a beginner telescope one that is good enough to view the stars and moon at night for my brother who currently likes to study astro physics.
I have a budget cost of less than $500 if theres on -.-'
Im not sure about the price range .Can anyone tell me the minimum cost of a telescope ?
Any recommendations ?

Prices varies according to different telescopes design and branding. At a budget of 500 you may be able to squeeze in a small refractor and a tripod to start off.
I always recommend newcomers to not dive into a purchase, at least join one of the observation sessions posted here . Meet up with some of the seasoned stargazers and get familiar with whats good and whats not.
