Jupiter

Post by Aaron »

Hi everyone,

This is my first attempt of Jupiter with the moons taken with Celestron powerseeker 60mm 2x borlow and modded Phillips spc900nc. Stack from 1000+ frames in registax 5.
Please let me know how is the detail with a small aperture scope.

Regards,
Aaron

Thank you all for your nice comments, [smilie=wow2.gif] [smilie=wow2.gif]

yybmage asked the magnification about the Jupiter, How do I calculate the mag without the eyepiece?
scope is 60mm f=900mm using 2x barlow and Phillips scp900nc webcam
there must be some kind of formula. I saw somewhere in this forum but don't no where.

About 36x with the 2x barlow?
[80% Steve, 20% Alfred] ------- Probability of Clear Skies = (Age of newest equipment in days) / [(Number of observers) * (Total Aperture of all telescopes present in mm)]
