Vixen Sphinx SXW Dec adjustment

Thanks for the reviews! how much was this mount (in yen) when you purchased it and what store did you get it from?

I saw it at Ishimaru duty free when I was in Akihabara in February, but the exchange rates were atrocious at the time and I didn't have the luggage capacity for a mount.

I read that you need to set backlash compensation to 0 when you use the guiding port. Not too sure as I have not been spending time with my sphinx.

I have the orion starshoot guider and have tried phd a couple of times. It seem to track ok for me up to 2 mins. Did you change the ST-4 wiring? I reversed the polarity of the DEC and RA wires according to the pinout diagrams, though I doubt it matters.
