ED 127 triplet apo refractors

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Agree with VinSnr - didn't know how to say it, but VinSnr put it very well. Thanks!

And when I sell back to Singastro members, everybody can get a darn good price.
Thank you Vincent for the wonderful 11" dob! Please continue to buy more premium stuff and sell back to us in Singastro. [smilie=admire.gif]

Hi,VinSnr,
After looking at your reply, I really envy you--a person with both commercial knowhow, contacts and also interested in astronomy.I dont have any commercial skill at all and like all common people rely on those who market the gadget. These makes it hard for us as it cost much more.Take for example--astrophotography.
After talking to some singastroian,I am convinced that DSLR can indeed produce better photo than afocal--but on further exploration I found that each camera type had their own Raw format and only the newest program can open such file type--buy again-cost cost cost... .In the end I stick to my old and cheaper ways-afocal.
By the way, keep bringing in those fantastic scope and let the local astro community benefit. Thanks

Don't worry about it. If you stay in this hobby long enough, trust me, you will somehow develop that "commercial know-how" becuase it's really a survival thing. To stay long enough, you will have no choice but to do every darn thing to stretch your available dollars.

Also, keep a keen eye on good deal. For example, Orion is selling a 5" reflector for US$72!!! Comes with rings, finder and eyepiece. I think the rings and eyepieces would have already cost 72 bucks.

Anyway, you can always drop me a PM if you need to buy anything and I can advise you on the amount that is reasonable for you to pay.
