Went out into the dark forests of the mountains again last night.
God it's so beautiful out there.
Never safer and more at home do I feel under the magnificence of the Milky Way home in which we live.

How did you resolve star-trails at 35-sec exposures? I've tried EOS500D, EFS18-55, 30-sec exposure but resulted in trails.

Use 18mm. 35 seconds.

Looks like your problem is light pollution (LP). Are you in a city? Get away from the LP by driving at least an hour away from any major city and try again.

Ok, thanks for the tip. Never thought of LP being the cause of it. Will give it another go soon
