CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!
Just took out all my hibernating astrophotography equipment (dragged them out kicking and screaming), and am surprised how much equipment I have accumulated over the years (and not used)!
Will put up an inventory soon.
Meanwhile, have done a test image of my old trusty setup using an Orion 100mm ED (remember that scope - ok, it was the 80mm version, but nonetheless - that started the low-cost APO trend) and my old-faithful ToUcam (since then I had acquired 4 more cams but none gets used as much as this one).
Hopefully, I will find enough energy to continue imaging - that is, until my MF digital back arrives this week! Heh...
Cheers!

Mf = medium format or 4"x5"... good for wide field with 400mm f6.3 sekor lens or refractor with 4" focusers
Err... guys, I have only planned to use my MF for "non-astro" photography so far. I have not seen anyone mate a MF to a scope? I wonder where to get the adapters from? Furthermore, my Mamiya 645 is probably too heavy for my current set-up. Maybe we could try it with a Holga if someone finds an adapter... heh...
