I am a beginner in astrophotography, do not have a scope yet and Singapore's sky is not always cooperating anyway. So I am using the remote telescopes of htp://telescope.org as an practical alternative. I started with 3 photos (R.G.B) of the North America Nebula. Then I am self-teaching how to merge them on GIMP.
I wonder if other Singastro members would be interested in having a workshop under the guidance of our experts on image manipulation? Like we meet somewhere with PCs and some FITS files and practice merging, correcting, rendering... Certainly better way to learn + fun!
