Astrigue is an annual astronomy outreach and competition organized by Raffles Institution and Hwa Chong Institution (College), which consists of a one day convention and 2 days of challenge. Admiral Garden Astro will also be co-organizing Astrigue this year, while Marine Parade Astronomy will be supporting this event. For the Astrigue convention on 3rd April, a mass star gazing (Star Party) have been incorporated to further boost the passion of participants for astronomy, and also act as a platform for school clubs and amateur astronomers in Singapore to get together and share their knowledge.
Date and Time: 3rd April 7pm to 4th April 7pm
Venue: Hwa Chong Institution School Field
- Please arrive at college main gate. Ushers will direct you to the field/ carpark (for parking cars).
It will be located at HCI school Field. All lights around the school will be switched off during the overnight stargazing. In the event we have to play cat and mouse with the clouds, the mobile planetarium from science center have been booked for that night. There are also air-conditioned rooms set aside should anyone wish to take a nap. We have already confirmed a number of telescopes for the event, and will like to request for your support and participation in the 1st overnight convention star gazing session that the Hwa Chong Institution Astronomy Club will be holding.

20:00-22:00 Observations + Exhibition
22:00- 6:00 Overnight Stargazing
Registration is free. Please fill in this form (for school security and planning issues) if you wish to attend and also state what scope you will be bringing (a plot of grass land will be allocated, first come first served basis).
