If one is coming from Tampines, the moment you see a multi storey carpark (you can just see it in the pic) and this bus stop before it on the opposite road on your right, you can stand up and get down at the next approaching bus stop. This stop where you alight will have a Red light crossing with a NTUC supermart opposite you, Large Coffee shop on opposite right! The Reservoir is behind this little mini central! Just walk through all the shop houses and head diagonally left.
For those coming from Eunos direction, when you see this mini central on your left, passing a traffic junction, you can stand and alight. You will be at the bus stop with the NTUC mart behind it.
Facing all these shophouses, the left side is an open field with the bird cage poles and the reservoir further in.
Don't worry much, each bus stop isn't far from each other and if you miss the NTUC the next stop is a short walk only! If this happens or anyone is lost, stay at the NTUC/coffee shop/ShengShiong and call. One of us can come and grab ya!!
I can't recall the busses as I last stayed there 7yrs ago!! If I'm not mistaken, SBS# 65, 21, 66, 59
Hope that helps.

My wife never complained about how much time, effort & money I spent on my Astronomy hobby!................suddenly I met her!!!
I went for a short recce trip and took some shots of the spots that I have highlighted previously as positions desirable for astro applications. I have spotted two gd positions for this astro event.
Position A: At the summit of bedok reservoir hill
This position gives a generous, unprecedented view of the northern, eastern and western skies. This is ideal as Jupiter is expected to rise from the eastern horizon. When facing north, the south is blocked by thick vegetation and a pavillion. A paved track runs from the foot of the hill to the summit and there are road lamps along the path. If this location is considered, then the lights need to be shut off. There are lights also along the gravel track, but this is ok as they are at least ~150m from the summit. There is a toilet 120m from the summit at the western foot of the hill. This site can take at least 4-5 telescope. This position is at least 250m from the nearest bus stop

Position B: Small open patch of grass at foot of hill
This grass patch is abt 50mx85m. There are palm trees grown around the perimeter. There is a service road leading to the gravel path directly next to it. There is a toilet behind the grass patch. This position is quite far from the bus stop, abt 300m. The palm tree are relativel short and the view overhead is not blocked

If I recall, there is a car park nearby, but not directly next to Ob sites. Will need to walk but small bit. But the walkway path is cobbled and lots of wobble and rumbling if you roll a bag along!
However I don't mind getting there early to help anyone carry stuff if needed. Just lemme know. If we all work together with a plan it is possible for all. Suggest that as we near the date, everyone exchange PM's/cell# so we have contacts! Also a schedule on who's arriving approx time so we can have look outs and help. Perhaps the East gang, including myself, can get there early to take point and help.

To access the ob site, a long walk along a cobbled footpath is not a very good idea. Just an open space next to carpark will suffice, like our previous location at Tiong Bahru Park. As long as the lights are not too obstrusive, we need not asked for the lamp posts to be switched off, just like at Tiong Bahru Park. After all, it's still a sidewalk astronomy event so being in the middle of an extra large field may not serve that objective. Furthermore, the main objects we will view are Jupiter and the Moon, so dark adaptation is quite unnecessary. On the contrary, having some ambient light around is better for planetary observation.
