Which binoculars better ?

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Price cut? Do you mean my budget or the Nikon bino?

Its quite affordable at USD130+, and I have been reading that a bino is a good compliment to telescopes and i find that binos will suit me as sometimes, I do not have the time to set up my scope, hence the quick grab and view thru bino.

Amazon says reduced from $200+.
I bought mine for 250 or 270 SGD and that was before price increase due to SGD/Yen conversion, so if the shipping doesn't kill, you have a good deal :) Its a nice Bino. You want you can try mine. I agree its very useful to scan wide field, especially to see if its clouds or just light pollution blanking out the stars!

Dun think shipping will kill. Comgateway is very reasonable so far. Also planning to buy the 2008 edition of Backyard Astronomer's Guide with it. Costs USD29, much lower than the SGD97.30 at borders.

i would rather choose 7X50. porro has much better performance on astronomy than roof design.
