but it's gonna weigh much more than the EQ-6 (and cost more).

looks like the only other option in this price range if you're not a fan of the EQ-6 and CGEM, is the iEQ 45..

they say it will be called EQ6.5 (?) because 7 is unlucky in Chinese? (also why EQ8 because 8 is lucky?)
