First light with GM8 and FS60CB

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Hi Kevin, its auto guided using Mini borg and QHY5. No problems so far for 10mins sub. But the Trifid was using mostly 5 mins sub. With some advice from sifus, i was able to do this hahahaha

Ok here's another shot of my humble shot of M31 Andromeda Galaxy

Image

With this image, i have captured 4 different types of celestial bodies namely:

1. Galaxies
2. Nebulae
3. Open clusters
4. Globular Clusters

All this was done in Mersing on 2 great nights.
Hope to have more of this chance to take more objects and improve my skills in both shooting and processing.
Of course with time upgrade to a better suitable cam. lol

Enjoy!
