Weather permitting, I will be conducting a sidewalk astronomy session at Toa Payoh Central tonight.
Date: Monday, 8 August 2011
Time: From 7:00 PM onwards
Venue: Open space in front of Toa Payoh Public Library [Google Map] [Street View]
Equipment: Meade 8 inch Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope
Main focus: Moon and Saturn. Trying to increase some awareness that one does not have to wait until the sky is dark to observe the Moon. For those who are able to stay late (around 1 am next morning), we can observe Jupiter.
